1. Accommodation
In 2015, we stayed in a fabulous Coral Sea View Room at The Reef View Hotel. To wake up with the view of Catseye Beach and the Coral Sea was amazing. The hotel is comfortable and located in a good area on the island alongside holiday apartments. Mini golf and the gym are 2 minutes walk from reception.
Accommodation Inclusions :
Complimentary Hamilton Island airport/marina to hotel transfers
Complimentary use of the gym, spa, sauna and tennis court hire
Complimentary use of catamarans, paddle skis, windsurfers and snorkelling equipment
Unlimited use of the scheduled ‘Island Shuttle’ service

2. Helicopter to Whitehaven Beach
Book a half day helicopter ride to Whitehaven Beach, the view is spectacular and a memory I promise you will remember forever. Although short, this is one of my favourite travel experiences. From the helicopter ride, swimming in the crystal blue sea to a champagne picnic on Whitehaven beach.
3. One Tree Hill look out
Here you will see stunning sunset views of the Whitsundays, make sure to head up to One Tree Hill at least 30 minutes before sunset to find a good spot as this lookout is very popular at sunset. I suggest bringing a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers to enjoy with the breathtaking view.
The bar at One Tree Hill lookout is open during lunch hours or early evening for sunset cocktails. Besides beverages, this bar only caters cheese and cracker snacks.

4. Buggy hire
Hire a buggy for the day, it is fun and a convenient way to explore the island, especially to One Tree Hill. No drivers licence required.

5. Climb Passage Peak
The climb up Passage Peak can be quite challenging however I highly recommend the walk. The view of the Whitsundays and Catseye Beach is breathtaking and worth every minute. I recommend wearing good walking shoes.
