1.FrenchKiss – Starring Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline.

I love this movie for the fact it showcases Paris and the French Riveria. Anyone that knows me knows my love of France. Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline worked well together in this film. Can watch this movie weekly and it always makes me want to move to France. Damn movie!

2.North By North West – Starring Cary Grant.

Gotta love a good Alfred Hitchcock especially when the dashing Cary Grant is in it. A classic thriller based on foreign spies chasing Cary Grant’s character who they assume is also a spy.

3.Wonderwoman – Starring Gal Gadot, Robyn Wright and Chris Pine.

If you haven’t seen this movie, what are you waiting for. Gal Gadot is sensational!

4.Superman – Starring Christopher Reeves, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman and Marlon Brando.

The original Supermans are still my favourite and can watch them over and over again.

5.The Court Jester – Starring Danny Kaye, Jessica Lansbury and Glynis Johns.

I’m sure some of you are thinking what is this movie. If you love the old classics make sure to watch this one. Danny Kaye is hilarious as a Court Jester in this musical comedy set in medieval England.

6.Viva Las Vegas – Starring Elvis Presley and Ann Margret.

Elvis Presley and Ann Margret are a great duo. Love the soundtracks in this one. This is definitely the best Elvis musical film. The film is based in Vegas where Elvis’s character Rusty enters a competition to win a cash prize so he can buy a new car motor so he can win the Grand Prix. If you love Elvis and haven’t seen this one, watch it.

7.Glass Bottom Boat – Starring Doris Day and Rod Taylor.

Now I’m really showing my age! Doris Day is a real hoot in this film.

Jennifer Nelson (Doris Day) works at an aerospace lab, but also as a mermaid to boost sales for her father’s glass-bottom boat company. You’ll have to see it to know the rest.

8.Calamity Jane – Starring Doris Day and Howard Keel.

This is a musical western based on the town of Deadwood in Dakota, USA which was a Gold Mine. Calamity Jane was associated with Bill Hillcock and both these characters actually did exist in Deadwood post Civil War.

Can watch this movie over and over again. Doris Day was a fabulous actress and both number 7 and 8 movies are not the only Doris movies I love. By The Light Of The Silvery Moon, On Moonlight Bay, April In Paris, Lucky Me, My Dream is Yours, Lullaby of Broadway and of course Please Don’t Eat the Daisies.

9.Gentlemen Prefer Blondes – Starring Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.

I have to say this is the only movie I enjoy watching Marilyn Monroe in. Jane Russell is another of my fave old classic actresses and these two work well together. A movie about Marilyn Monroe’s character obsessed with Diamonds.

10.Artists and Models – Starring Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Shirley MacLaine and Eva Gabor.

This is a 1955 musical comedy. Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin were a fabulous duo team and adding Shirley MacLaine in this movie with them made it even better. Shirley MacLaine is absolutely wild.
